President Trump's Inauguration Day Immigration Measures

President Donald Trump prepares to reshape America's border policies on his first day back in the White House with a series of executive actions.

According to Daily Wire, the newly inaugurated president is set to sign 11 border-related executive orders on Monday, with three major orders focusing on wall construction, military deployment, and gang designation.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin revealed exclusive details about these executive orders, which aim to address the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The orders come in the wake of what Trump's administration describes as failed border policies under Joe Biden's presidency, during which Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas faced impeachment for his role in managing border security.

Military Forces Take Center Stage At Southern Border

The deployment of U.S. troops under Northern Command (NORTHCOM) stands as one of the most significant changes outlined in Trump's executive orders. Military personnel will be tasked with maintaining operational control of the border, marking a substantial shift in border security strategy.

A Trump administration official provided insight into the reasoning behind this decision:

This Executive Order sends a clear message that the United States intends to exercise its sovereignty over its land and borders and that the Armed Forces have a role to play in protecting our borders.

The Secretary of Defense will be directed to develop a unified command plan, with NORTHCOM taking the lead on border security operations. This military-focused approach represents a dramatic departure from previous border management strategies.

Border Wall Construction Resumes With Enhanced Protocols

Trump's first executive order targets the completion of the border wall project, which had been halted under Biden's administration. The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense will oversee the construction efforts.

This order also terminates several Biden-era programs, including the CBP One cell phone application and the CHNV migrant flights program.

The order extends beyond physical barriers, addressing operational policies that have shaped border management.

Catch and release policies will be terminated, and the "Remain in Mexico" program will be reinstated. These changes signal a return to Trump-era border policies that emphasize deterrence and strict enforcement.

Criminal Organizations Face Heightened Security Measures

The third executive order focuses on combating criminal organizations operating across the border. Trump's administration will designate international cartels and crime organizations, including Tren de Aragua and MS-13, as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists.

This designation enables more aggressive action against these groups, providing federal authorities with expanded tools for enforcement. Financial institutions will be required to report related funds to the Treasury, and providing support to these organizations will become illegal.

Strategic Implementation Marks Day One Priority

The announced executive orders represent only a portion of Trump's planned border-related actions. Additional orders will be revealed throughout inauguration day, with some announcements expected during Trump's inaugural speech. The comprehensive approach suggests a coordinated effort to address multiple aspects of border security simultaneously.

These policy changes follow the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas and criticism of the Biden administration's handling of border security. The new measures aim to address what Trump's team sees as systematic failures in current border management.

Looking Forward To Border Policy Implementation

President Trump returns to the White House with an immediate focus on border security, implementing 11 executive orders on his first day. The orders span military deployment, infrastructure development, and enhanced security measures targeting criminal organizations.

The three detailed executive orders establish a framework for significant changes in border management, including military involvement through NORTHCOM, resumed wall construction, and strengthened measures against international criminal organizations.

These actions signal the beginning of Trump's second-term approach to border security, with more policy announcements expected throughout inauguration day.
