Top revelations of Obama-Biden intelligence abuses

A trove of declassified documents has reignited scrutiny over the Obama-Biden era’s alleged weaponization of American intelligence agencies against Donald Trump.

According to Just the News, the Trump administration’s probe into these actions, starting with the dubious Russia collusion claims of 2016, has unveiled a disturbing pattern of political bias within the intelligence community. This investigation, led by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and FBI Director Kash Patel, aims to expose how operations like "Crossfire Hurricane" were launched on shaky grounds.

The released files also highlight whistleblower complaints and internal probes into figures like then-Rep. Adam Schiff and former FBI Director James Comey for allegedly leaking classified data to the press. It’s a stark reminder that the very systems meant to protect our democracy can be turned against it when agenda trumps integrity.

Unmasking the Origins of Crossfire Hurricane

Delving into the genesis of the Trump-Russia inquiry, declassified emails reveal a top cybersecurity official’s shock in 2019 upon learning that the discredited Steele Dossier underpinned the Obama administration’s 2016 assessment on Russian election meddling. This flawed foundation casts serious doubt on the entire narrative peddled at the time.

Further, a September 2016 intelligence report, newly public, showed little initial concern over Russian interference and made no claim of Kremlin preference for Trump until after his electoral victory shifted the tone. One has to wonder if the story was crafted to fit the outcome rather than the facts.

A House Intelligence Committee report also confirms the Steele Dossier’s role in concluding that Putin favored Trump, contradicting testimony from figures like CIA Director John Brennan, who denied its influence. Such discrepancies suggest a troubling willingness to bendthe  truth for political gain.

Clinton Campaign Ties and Intelligence Manipulation

A declassified annex from Special Counsel John Durham’s 2023 report indicates the Obama administration knew as early as summer 2016 of Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan to fabricate a Russia scandal against Trump, with the FBI allegedly complicit. This isn’t just poor judgment; it’s a calculated smear using taxpayer-funded resources.

Adding to the one-sided focus, the January 2017 intelligence assessment on election meddling ignored Chinese hacking of U.S. campaigns in prior years, zeroing in solely on Russia without a mention of Beijing. Selectivity like this reeks of narrative control rather than objective analysis.

Then there’s the 2017 memo uncovered by Kash Patel, detailing FBI agents facing obstruction from their superiors and the Obama Justice Department while probing potential pay-to-play schemes involving the Clinton Foundation during the 2016 election. When investigations into one side are stifled while the other is amplified, the scales of justice look suspiciously tilted.

Leaks and Accountability Gaps Exposed

Documents also reveal a career intelligence officer’s repeated warnings to the FBI starting in 2017 that Adam Schiff sanctioned leaks of classified information to tarnish Trump with the debunked Russiagate claims. Schiff’s spokesperson, Marisol Samayoa, countered that “Donald Trump and his MAGA allies will continue weaponizing the justice process” against him, but such deflections hardly address the gravity of leaking national secrets.

Similarly, federal prosecutors found evidence that James Comey personally authorized pre-2016 election leaks to reporters, yet no charges were filed despite declassified memos questioning his congressional testimony. If accountability is a cornerstone of our system, why does it seem so selectively applied?

The FBI itself initiated over half a dozen investigations into media leaks that fueled false Trump-Russia collusion stories, yet under Biden’s watch, no one was held responsible. This lack of consequence only emboldens those who see classified information as a political toy rather than a sacred trust.

Broader Investigations and Unanswered Questions

Beyond intelligence abuses, the IRS under Trump launched a criminal tax probe into the Clinton Foundation’s global dealings, only for it to be abruptly halted in spring 2019 with whistleblowers silenced. The order to stop, from unidentified higher-ups, leaves a lingering question of who benefits from burying such inquiries.

Meanwhile, current investigations into figures like New York Attorney General Letitia James for mortgage fraud and a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump—recently overturned by a New York Appellate Court—draw scrutiny, with her attorney Abbe Lowell accusing the DOJ of pursuing “revenge” over evidence. Yet, when public officials cry foul while under the microscope, it’s hard not to see it as more noise than substance.

Ultimately, these revelations paint a picture of an intelligence and justice apparatus too easily swayed by partisan winds during the Obama-Biden years. While no one should rush to judgment, the call for transparency and accountability isn’t just warranted—it’s essential to ensure our institutions serve the people, not personal vendettas.
