Trump allegedly recorded sharing shocking assassination attempt details

Donald Trump was reportedly caught on tape at Mar-a-Lago discussing the chilling assassination attempt against him in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024, and the implications could cause a political earthquake.

This saga, filled with secret recordings and journalistic intrigue, centers on claims that Trump was covertly taped by a sketch artist during a summer 2024 visit to his Florida estate, orchestrated by a journalist with a questionable agenda, as the Daily Mail reports.

Let’s rewind to the summer of 2024, when Trump, then a presidential candidate, was hosting campaign strategy sessions at Mar-a-Lago with figures like Matt Gaetz and Susie Wiles.

Uncovering the Alleged Mar-a-Lago Recording

Enter Isabelle Brourman, a sketch artist who had previously caught Trump’s eye during his Manhattan trial, invited to Mar-a-Lago under the guise of creating a portrait for a publication.

According to journalist Ryan Lizza, this was no innocent art project -- Brourman allegedly carried a hidden recording device in her bag, capturing Trump’s private thoughts on the harrowing Butler incident.

Florida’s strict two-party consent law makes such secret recordings illegal without both parties’ agreement, raising serious ethical and legal questions about this covert operation.

Behind the Scenes: A Reporter’s Motives

Lizza, who was once engaged to former New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi, dropped this bombshell in part three of an eight-part Substack series detailing their messy breakup.

He accuses Nuzzi of masterminding the surveillance, claiming she arranged Brourman’s visit as a Trojan horse to snoop on Trump. If true, this paints a troubling picture of journalistic overreach in an era already skeptical of media integrity.

“Trump had taken a liking to Izzy when she worked as a sketch artist during his Manhattan trial, and Olivia figured he would enjoy having her around him. She was right,” Lizza wrote, suggesting a calculated move to exploit Trump’s trust.

Explosive Claims and Historical Implications

Lizza teases that Trump’s recorded remarks could “shatter our understanding of recent history,” hinting at revelations so profound they might rewrite how we view the assassination attempt.

While specifics remain under wraps -- potentially to be unveiled in part four of Lizza’s series -- the mere suggestion of such impactful statements demands attention. One can only wonder what Trump might have disclosed in a moment of unguarded reflection.

Meanwhile, the backstory of the Butler attempt is grim: federal authorities identified the would-be assassin as 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, a lone actor with a documented history of advocating political violence.

Nuzzi’s Tangled Web of Allegations

Lizza’s accusations don’t stop at the recording; he portrays Nuzzi as a political operative, alleging she supported Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential bid during a 2023 fling, even engaging in “catch-and-kill” tactics to bury damaging stories about RFK Jr.

These maneuvers, Lizza claims, helped secure RFK Jr.’s eventual endorsement of Trump and a potential Cabinet role, though RFK Jr. suspended his campaign in August 2024. Nuzzi’s admitted attraction to RFK Jr. -- non-physical, by her account -- along with her ouster from New York Magazine and a new gig at Vanity Fair, now under scrutiny, only thickens the plot.

As for Nuzzi, her personal and professional fallout continues with Lizza’s breaking of their engagement in September 2024, additional affair allegations involving a former Republican representative, and a forthcoming book, American Canto, about the scandal. It’s a soap opera with real-world stakes, leaving conservatives to ponder if the progressive agenda in media has gone too far in its quest to undermine Trump -- yet again, legal and ethical lines seem blurred at best.
