General Hospital’ Star Haley Pullos charged with felony DUI

Haley Pullos, known for her role in 'General Hospital', has been charged with a felony count of drunk driving following a severe car accident in April. This news has been reported by Breitbart.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney charged the soap actress after police reported she had a .08 blood alcohol content in the aftermath of the April 29 crash. The 24-year-old Pullos has already pleaded not guilty and is set to face a preliminary hearing in July.

Pullos is accused of driving her car the wrong way down the 134 Freeway in Pasadena while intoxicated, resulting in a head-on collision with another vehicle at a speed of 60 mph. She was subsequently arrested at a hospital where she was taken following the crash.

Police report reveals concerning details

A police report revealed that officers found marijuana edibles and empty miniature bottles of tequila in Pullos’ car. The officers also reported that Pullos became aggressive and violent with them, at one point lashing out and telling first responders not to handle her because she was wearing a $400 shirt.

The victim of the crash, Courtney Wilder, 23, was taken to the hospital in critical condition as a result of the collision. Wilder is also suing the actress for damages.

In the days following the crash, Pullos, who plays Molly Lansing-Davis on the long-running soap opera 'General Hospital', told Soap Opera Digest that she was taking a break from the show to recover from a car accident but did not mention her arrest.

Pullos enters rehab following the incident

By May, Pullos was seen entering a $2,600 a week rehab facility in Malibu, as reported by Breitbart.

The actress's decision to enter rehab raises questions about the severity of the incident and her subsequent actions. It also brings to light the broader issue of substance abuse and its consequences, particularly when it leads to endangering others' lives.

The incident involving Pullos serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of drunk driving and the potential legal and personal repercussions that can follow. It also underscores the importance of seeking help for substance abuse issues.

Legal proceedings and potential consequences

As Pullos awaits her preliminary hearing in July, the potential consequences of her actions loom large. If convicted, she could face severe penalties, including a significant fine, loss of driving privileges, and even jail time.

The victim, Courtney Wilder, has also initiated a lawsuit against Pullos, seeking damages for the injuries sustained in the crash. This legal action adds another layer of complexity to the situation and could result in further penalties for the actress.

The case also raises questions about the potential impact on Pullos's career. The entertainment industry has often grappled with how to respond when its stars face serious legal issues.

Public response and future implications

The public response to the incident has been mixed, with some expressing sympathy for Pullos while others condemn her actions. The incident has also sparked discussions about the responsibilities of public figures and the potential influence they have on theirfans.
