List of casualties in Washington's devastating plane crash

An American Airlines jet and an Army Black Hawk helicopter collided catastrophically over the Potomac River near Washington DC, claiming 67 lives.

According to the Daily Mail, All 64 passengers and crew on the flight and three Army personnel died in the devastating mid-air collision.

Last Wednesday evening, tragedy struck when American Airlines Flight 5342, approaching Reagan Washington National Airport, collided with a U.S. Army helicopter. The catastrophic event instantly claimed the lives of everyone aboard both aircraft.

The deceased included notable figures such as Russian figure skating couple Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, along with a young figure skating team that featured 12-year-old TikTok star Olivia Eve Ter. The crash also killed the entire flight crew and three Army personnel.

DC Fire Chief John Donnelly confirmed that crews have recovered over 40 bodies so far, with search and recovery efforts still ongoing.
