Over 1 million Chinese-born U.S. citizens may influence 2030 elections

Over one million individuals born in the United States to Chinese parents through birth tourism could be eligible to vote in American elections by 2030, according to a startling revelation in a new book by investigative journalist Peter Schweizer.

Titled "The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon," the book outlines how Chinese elites exploit U.S. birthright citizenship policies. Estimates suggest between 750,000 and 1.5 million such citizens are growing up in China under the influence of communist teachings.

The issue has ignited fierce debate over the implications for national sovereignty. Many worry about the integrity of our electoral process with such a significant demographic shift on the horizon.

A Growing Wave of Dual Allegiances

Schweizer points out a unique challenge, noting that “perhaps more than a million Chinese nationals have become US citizens by virtue of being born here, but have no memories or allegiance to our country.”

This trend often involves children of Chinese elites raised in a system steeped in Communist Party doctrine. It could reshape the voter landscape as early as 2030, with data on birth tourism suggesting a significant influx, as reported by Breitbart News.

A generation schooled in values opposed to American principles, casting ballots raises valid questions. The future of our democratic process hangs in a delicate balance.

Exploiting Policy Loopholes for Gain

Birth tourism, where Chinese mothers travel to the U.S. specifically to give birth on American soil, has ballooned over the past 15 years. This practice often comes with organized support that targets gaps in immigration law.

Schweizer highlights how it surged during the Obama years, allowing children to later sponsor their parents for residency. This creates a chain of migration that feels more like a calculated strategy than a personal choice.

One can't help but question the intent behind such moves. Is this truly about opportunity or planting seeds for long-term influence?

Surrogacy Adds Another Layer

Adding to the complexity, Schweizer uncovers the use of surrogate mothers in the U.S. by senior Chinese Communist Party officials to secure citizenship for their offspring. This practice extends the reach of birthright exploitation.

A chilling example involves Guojun Xuan, a CCP member tied to over $100 million in California real estate, who was found with 21 children connected to surrogacy arrangements. Schweizer calls it just “the tip of a very large iceberg.”

This industrial-scale operation, with companies facilitating such births across states, signals a deliberate effort. The system seems to be gamed at every turn.

Time for Policy Reckoning

The scale of this issue, with estimates of up to 100,000 Chinese babies born as U.S. citizens annually, demands a hard look at birthright citizenship rules. Current policies may not align with modern challenges.

While respecting individual rights, it's fair to ask whether these laws serve the nation's interests. Do they leave the door open to foreign agendas, especially when entire generations could sway elections without cultural ties to America?

Closing these loopholes isn't about exclusion but about safeguarding our democratic foundation. We must ensure policies aren't undermined by exploitation that they were never designed to handle.
