Prestonwood Pastor Appointed as HUD Secretary

Scott Turner's confirmation as the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development marks a significant transitional moment in federal housing leadership.

Following a Senate confirmation of 55-44 on Wednesday, Turner was sworn in by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, the Christian Post reported.

The new HUD Secretary, an associate pastor at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, expressed his gratitude and outlined his priorities shortly after taking the oath.
