Tim Tebow and wife to welcome baby girl, chosen Bible verse revealed

Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh Tebow announced they're expecting their first child, a daughter, with a colorful and heartfelt gender reveal event.

At a uniquely artistic celebration, the couple unveiled they are having a baby girl through a painting activity and shared a special Bible verse for her, the Christian Post reported.

The gender reveal was initially teased by Demi-Leigh on her Instagram on Wednesday. Anticipation built amongst their expansive fan base who have followed the couple's public life and philanthropic efforts.

The couple chose to find out the gender of their baby through a creative painting event where they painted blindfolded, using colors that would ultimately reveal the gender. Pink for a girl and blue for a boy were their chosen colors.

As they removed their blindfolds, it was disclosed that the canvas they had been working on was predominantly pink, signaling that they were expecting a girl. The video, shared widely on social media, transitioned from black and white to color, heightening the dramatic reveal.

Artistic Reveal Brings Joy and Future Hopes

Following the reveal, Demi-Leigh expressed her intuition about the gender, commenting, "I thought it was a girl this whole time," and adding that she would have been happy either way. Tim mirrored his wife's sentiments, having shared the sense of expecting a daughter.

The event wasn't just about discovering the baby's gender; it was also about creating a lasting keepsake for their future daughter. “To create a meaningful piece of art for the nursery, we decided to find out the gender through painting,” Demi-Leigh explained.

They integrated their faith into the celebration by selecting Bible verses in advance—one for a boy and one for a girl. After the reveal, they announced that Psalm 25:4-5 would be the verse to "speak over" their daughter, which Demi-Leigh then shared on social media.

Cherished Bible Verse Chosen for Nursery Art

Demi-Leigh shared, "We chose two Bible verses — one for a boy and one for a girl — to add to the canvas once it was complete." This testament to their faith was an integral part of the celebration, emphasizing the role their beliefs play in their family life.

The chosen verse, Psalm 25:4-5, was intended to guide and bless their daughter's life as she grows. This decision reflects the couple’s commitment to embedding their faith deeply into their family's foundation.

Both Tim and Demi-Leigh have been vocal about their Christian beliefs, and this event highlighted how central their faith is to their personal and familial identity. Tim is widely recognized not only for his sports career but also as an influencer in the Christian community and a committed advocate against human trafficking.

Community Support and Anticipation for New Arrival

The couple married five years ago in South Africa, where Demi-Leigh, a former Miss Universe, hails from. Their relationship has been a beacon of their shared values and philanthropic endeavors, which they frequently spotlight through public appearances and social media.

In January, they shared the exciting news that they were expecting, receiving outpourings of support from fans and followers around the globe. The announcement was met with widespread enthusiasm, drawing attention from both media and public figures.

They described their upcoming addition as their "greatest blessing" on Instagram. Their post detailed, "We’ve been praying for her long before we knew her, and we’re beyond grateful that God chose us to be her parents."

Future Hopes and Prayers for Their Daughter

The Tebows have expressed specific prayers for their daughter’s future. They hope that she will "always find her identity in Christ and place her hope in His love and truth." These reflections underscore a desire to raise their child within the framework of their faith and values.

"Now, let's get this nursery in order! Bring on the pink bows, ruffles, and all things sweet," they joyously proclaimed, indicating their readiness and excitement to welcome their baby girl into their home and hearts.

The Tebow family is expanding, and their public sharing of this milestone has not only brought joy to their lives but also inspired their extensive following. As they prepare for their new role as parents, the Tebows continue to be a symbol of faith and love in the public eye.
