Trump administration focuses on faith-based violence prevention, says official

In a decisive shift, the Department of Justice, under the Trump administration, is intensifying its legal actions against those attempting or perpetrating violence against religious and pro-life facilities.

According to the Christian Post, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon recently highlighted these policies, reasserting a strong stance against crimes related to abortion and religious freedoms.

Appearing on "The Glenn Beck Podcast," Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon discussed the Department of Justice's pivoting role in the aftermath of the Supreme Court's landmark decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. This conversation highlighted a significant redirection from previous policies, marking a particularly vigorous approach to handling acts of vandalism and violence targeting religious and pro-life groups.

Dhillon outlined that the DOJ has now dismissed several cases that were previously initiated during the Biden administration against pro-life advocates. These dismissals align with a broader initiative to ensure the rights of religious individuals, emphasizing a restoration of what the administration views as the rightful balance of justice and religious freedom.
