House Probe Alleges Joe Biden Committed Impeachable Offenses

Republican-led House committees have concluded their impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, alleging he committed impeachable offenses by assisting in enriching his family through foreign business dealings.

According to a report from Just the News, the 291-page document outlines evidence of the Biden family's foreign payments and the President's involvement in meetings or conversations with business partners.

The House Oversight, Ways and Means, and Judiciary Committees released their findings on August 19, 2024, just as Biden was set to be honored at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

The report claims that Biden abused his office and violated his constitutional oaths by participating in a "conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust" for his family's financial gain.

Biden Family's Foreign Financial Connections

The committee's investigation revealed that Hunter Biden and other family members received over $27 million from foreign sources.

These funds were allegedly obscured through shell companies to conceal their origins. Some of the money from China reportedly ended up directly in Joe Biden's bank account.

Hunter Biden's role on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma was highlighted, where he received a $1 million annual salary. The report also mentions a $5 million loan in 2017 from entities connected to CEFC China Energy, described as "interest-free" and forgivable.

The committees argue that these financial arrangements were facilitated by Joe Biden's position as vice president, which was used as a selling point to foreign business partners.

Vice Presidential Influence And Meetings

The report alleges that while serving as vice president, Biden used his position to benefit his sons and business partners' foreign dealings. Evidence suggests Biden met or spoke with nearly all of the family's foreign business associates, including those from Ukraine, China, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

One notable example cited in the report involves a 2017 lunch in Washington, D.C., where Joe Biden, then a private citizen, reportedly joined his son Hunter and a delegation from CEFC China Energy. Shortly after this meeting, a CEFC affiliate wired $3 million to a company associated with Hunter Biden's business group.

Loans From Democratic Donors

The committees' investigation also uncovered significant financial assistance to Biden family members from Democratic donors. The report claims that over $8 million in loans were obtained using Joe Biden's "positions of public trust" as leverage.

Hollywood entertainment lawyer and Democratic donor Kevin Morris reportedly provided Hunter Biden with nearly $6 million in financial assistance during the 2020 presidential campaign. This aid covered various expenses, including rent, child support, travel, legal bills, and tax debts.

James Biden, the President's brother, also allegedly received loans from Democratic donors, including an $800,000 loan from Joey Langston and a $900,000 loan from John Hynansky, both of whom have connections to Joe Biden.

Department Of Justice Treatment Of Hunter Biden

The report includes allegations from IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, who claim the Justice Department gave Hunter Biden preferential treatment during their investigation. They assert that DOJ officials concealed evidence, delayed key investigative steps, and blocked lines of inquiry involving Joe Biden.

One of the whistleblowers, Gary Shapley, provided the following statement to the committees:

AUSA Wolf also told investigators they should not ask about President Biden during witness interviews even when the business communications of his son clearly referenced him. Wolf also intervened to stop a search warrant at Joe Biden's Delaware home over 'optics' concerns despite admitting there would be evidence at that location.

The whistleblowers also claim that Hunter Biden prevented them from pursuing evidence of potential Foreign Agents Registration Act violations.

Conclusion

The House committees' impeachment inquiry report alleges that President Joe Biden engaged in impeachable offenses by helping to enrich his family through foreign business dealings. The report claims Biden abused his office and violated constitutional oaths by participating in a conspiracy to monetize his position for family financial gain.

It outlines evidence of foreign payments to the Biden family, Joe Biden's involvement in meetings with business partners, loans from Democratic donors, and allegations of preferential treatment in the Justice Department's investigation of Hunter Biden.
