Allegations Surface Against Doug Emhoff Involving Assault And Infidelity

Startling accusations have surfaced against Doug Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming he physically assaulted a former girlfriend in 2012.

report by PJ Media details allegations from three witnesses who claim Emhoff struck his then-girlfriend, referred to as "Jane," in the face while waiting in a valet line.

The incident allegedly took place during a trip to France for the amfAR Gala near Cannes.

The witnesses, all friends of the alleged victim, provided accounts of the incident and its aftermath. One friend recalled receiving a distressing phone call from Jane on the night of the alleged assault, describing her as sobbing and difficult to understand in a taxi.

Witnesses Corroborate Assault Claims

The three friends, who requested anonymity due to fears of retaliation, shared photographs of Emhoff and Jane together from 2012. They also provided documents and communications to support elements of their account.

A second friend stated that Jane, who had been dating Emhoff for approximately three months at the time, confided in her about the alleged violence shortly after it occurred.

The third witness reported that Jane first mentioned dating Emhoff in 2014 but didn't disclose the full story of the alleged abuse until 2018.

This revelation coincided with then-Senator Harris's involvement in the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

Additional Allegations Surface

The assault allegations come alongside other recent revelations about Emhoff's past behavior.

Last month, he reportedly admitted to an affair with his children's nanny, who also worked as their grade school teacher, around 2008.

Jane's friends claim she was also aware of this affair and its aftermath. According to their account, Emhoff allegedly told Jane that the nanny had accused him of causing her miscarriage, though he denied responsibility.

Despite his denials, Emhoff reportedly paid the nanny an $80,000 settlement and had her sign a non-disclosure agreement.

The friends provided additional details about Jane and Emhoff's relationship, describing how he quickly became intimate with Jane after meeting on Match.com and gave the impression he wanted to marry her.

Potential Impact on Harris Campaign

These allegations pose a significant challenge to the image cultivated by the Harris presidential campaign.

Emhoff has been portrayed as a supportive and progressive partner, even recently praised for "reshaping the perception of masculinity" in an MSNBC interview.

One of Jane's friends, described as a female executive, emphasized the contrast between Emhoff's public persona and the alleged private behavior:

She had met his parents, his kids. Prior to this he had been making comments about marriage with [Jane].

The timing of these revelations, coming just weeks before the presidential election, could have far-reaching implications for the Harris campaign and its messaging.

Conclusion and Potential Fallout

The allegations against Doug Emhoff, husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, include claims of physical assault against a former girlfriend in 2012.

Three witnesses have come forward with details of the alleged incident, which reportedly occurred during a trip to France. These accusations, combined with recent admissions of infidelity, pose a significant challenge to Emhoff's public image and potentially impact the Harris presidential campaign's narrative.
